Chrome Hacks – Generate Random Secure Passwords
Google Chrome browser includes a built-in Password Generator, which can generate random passwords for you, when you are signing up for any new online services or accounts. These generated passwords are complex and secure. Currently, it is not enabled by default, you will have to enable it first.
Steps to generate random passwords using chrome
1. For this hack to work you need to first sign in to chrome from Settings. Under advance sync setting make sure password sync is enable so your new passwords are automatically save with google account.
2. Now type in address bar chrome://flags/#enable-password-generation and change the flag from default to enable.
3. Also go to this link chrome://flags/#enable-manual-password-generation and change it to enable
That’s it, Now the next time you go on to sign up for any online service, when you click inside the Password box, Chrome will suggest you a password. Alternatively you can also right click and select generate passwords.
